Our flexible packing applications handle a wide range of product sizes and packing patterns. The real challenge – and what truly sparks our creativity – is fitting as many products as possible into each box in a single operation.
The results are even better when we’re also involved in designing the box itself, as packaging design and packing methods are closely connected.
To give a few examples, we’ve packed 9,000 candles, 5,000 packs of salt, and 2,400 bags of bread per hour.
Beyond the packing itself, many other smart solutions can be integrated into an intelligent packing line. We often integrate packaging machinery such as wrapping machines, case erectors, and case sealers, as well as printers and labeling equipment for traceability and marking. This is done in close collaboration with a well-established network of carefully selected partners. Like us, they are driven by curiosity and a passion for finding the most efficient overall solutions.
For our customers, the contents of the box are of course the most important thing – at least until they’ve worked with us. We believe that packaging and packing technology is becoming an increasingly critical part of the overall production process. And we’re happy to prove that every time we’re involved in a project.
Our goal is for the box to make such a difference that it shows up in the annual report.
That’s why we’re also happy to help develop new, appealing, and sales-driven packaging solutions – such as display boxes that are easy to open and present products more effectively on store shelves.
We’re also experts in optimizing pallet patterns and labeling boxes in smart ways. Because in the end, it’s the details that make the difference.

A few years ago, we delivered a packing system to Arvid Nordquist’s coffee roastery in Solna, Sweden. The task was to pack mixed coffee products on half pallets, ready to go straight onto store shelves. It turned out to be complex, challenging, fun – and very successful. Two nerdy worlds found each other.

European manufacturers of food work in accordance with an impressive hygiene scheme. Protective overalls, shoe protection, and hair and beard nets are compulsory items for everyone who enters the clinically clean production areas. One distinct trend is an effort to keep cardboard boxes and wood pallets outside of zones that have extra requirements for cleanliness and hygiene. That’s where we enter the story – wearing our protective outfits, of course!

When established truths no longer are relevant, we sometimes talk about a paradigm shift. Quantum mechanics, the theory of relativity and the realization that celestial bodies move in ellipses degraded earlier scientific findings to – at the most – quaint attempts. A mind shift was what was needed also at Emballator Växjöplast, since ironically, the cap factory was on the verge of getting clogged up.
